Well, if you are looking for the best of experiences, then I will suggest the Andaman Islands should be one of your picks for Honeymoon.

Now, here are the reasons why a honeymoon in the Andaman Islands is so memorable.

Let me give a lame reason first, or maybe not. There are not many islands in India, only a handful of them, and the Andaman Islands are the most discussed destination for a honeymoon in India.

For a honeymoon couple, I believe, the most important thing narrows down to a good location, beautiful and serene trips and yes you do not want lots of crowd around you.

With Andamans, you will exactly find what you are looking for, well we have 572 of them, though not all are inhabited. I believe only 27 of the islands are.

The food, beach resorts, and some of the well known well-known trips on the islands are good enough to give you a perfect start after your wedding.

Walk down near beaches with dense forests and turquoise-colored water.

If you are among the lazy ones then, just relax by the beach side, trying to know each other well.

For little enthusiastic ones, you can go Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, or Sea Walk in the Andamans.

A sea walk on North Bay Island is a nice trip for people who do not know swimming.

My personal suggested trips for travelers on Honeymoon are:-

1) Trip to Havelock Island.

This is a must-go destination in Andaman.

Combine it with Radhanagar Beach for the best Sunset view on Havelock Island.

Snorkeling in Elephant Beach, and Scuba Diving/Sea Walk if possible. Also, stay in a beach resort only.

2) Visit Neil Island in Andaman.

This destination is still not visited by all the travelers who come to Andaman, however, is an extremely nice destination to find your space.

Neil island has breathtaking coral reefs, thick tropical forests, and magnificent bio-diversity that is worthy of visiting.

3) Port Blair

Port Blair, you can combine your trip with a visit to Jolly Bouy Island, this destination offers the best experiences to snorkelers on visit to the islands and is among the top 3 things to do in the Andamans.

Cellular Jail a.k.a Kaalapani Jail is a historical destination that should not be missed as well.

Visit the best sunset point in the Andamans, Chidiatapu should be on your to-visit list as well.

Cellular jail was supposed to be the most feared jail before India’s independence.

I am planning to go Andaman for my honeymoon.
As this is my first trip, I want to know about this place a bit.
I've planned for to& fro of this trip..
ie:
1> Reach Andaman by Ship
2> Andaman Trip
3> Return by flight
If you know any information about this, could you please share with me?

  Sorry for the late reply. Your query was hidden in a cloud of Spam and I just found it.
  Just a question, did you know that ship takes around 4 days to reach Andaman Islands from Chennai/Kolkata.
  Usually, we do not recommend this to travelers considering the time one has to spend for their journey and post this you may get sea sickness as well. On your return though you can plan a trip by ship. On your onward journey I will not recommend it personally. To add to this, these ships are government operated ships and are not cruises that you seen in pictures.
