Well, if you are looking for the best of experiences, then I will suggest the Andaman Islands should be one of your picks for Honeymoon.
Now, here are the reasons why a honeymoon in the Andaman Islands is so memorable.
Let me give a lame reason first, or maybe not. There are not many islands in India, only a handful of them, and the Andaman Islands are the most discussed destination for a honeymoon in India.
For a honeymoon couple, I believe, the most important thing narrows down to a good location, beautiful and serene trips and yes you do not want lots of crowd around you.
With Andamans, you will exactly find what you are looking for, well we have 572 of them, though not all are inhabited. I believe only 27 of the islands are.
The food, beach resorts, and some of the well known well-known trips on the islands are good enough to give you a perfect start after your wedding.
Walk down near beaches with dense forests and turquoise-colored water.
If you are among the lazy ones then, just relax by the beach side, trying to know each other well.My personal suggested trips for travelers on Honeymoon are:-
1) Trip to Havelock Island.
This is a must-go destination in Andaman.
Combine it with Radhanagar Beach for the best Sunset view on Havelock Island.
Snorkeling in Elephant Beach, and Scuba Diving/Sea Walk if possible. Also, stay in a beach resort only.
2) Visit Neil Island in Andaman.
3) Port Blair
Cellular jail was supposed to be the most feared jail before India’s independence.This is one of the most preferred honeymoon itineraries :
- Day 1 AIRPORT PICK UP. LATER CITY TOUR, CARBYNE’S COVE BEACH, AND CELLULAR JAIL LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW
- Day 2 PORT BLAIR TO NEIL ISLAND IN CRUISE. LATER NEIL BEACHES AND SUNSET POINT
- Day 3 NEIL ISLAND TO HAVELOCK ISLAND IN CRUISE AND RADHANAGAR BEACH. LATER CANDLELIT DINNER AND DECORATED BEDS
- Day 4 ELEPHANT BEACH SNORKELING TRIP AND BOAT RIDE
- Day 5 DAY AT LEISURE. LATER HAVELOCK ISLAND TO PORT BLAIR IN CRUISE
- Day 6 ROSS ISLAND TRIP. LATER CHIDIATAPU SUNSET AND SHOPPING TRIP
- Day 7 AIRPORT DROP
You, know what I can go on and on just to emphasize that honeymoon in the Andaman Islands is one heck of a trip that will last forever and you should surely consider visiting this one.

Sorry for the late reply. Your query was hidden in a cloud of Spam and I just found it.
Just a question, did you know that ship takes around 4 days to reach Andaman Islands from Chennai/Kolkata.
Usually, we do not recommend this to travelers considering the time one has to spend for their journey and post this you may get sea sickness as well. On your return though you can plan a trip by ship. On your onward journey I will not recommend it personally. To add to this, these ships are government operated ships and are not cruises that you seen in pictures.
