Radhanagar Beach in Havelock Island is the most visited beach in the entire Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Radhanagar Beach is considered the most excellent beach in the entire Andaman Islands and not that just we say this, it was ranked the 7th best beach in Asia in 2004 and in 2020.
Radhanagar beach has been consistently awarded as one of the best beaches in India as per Tripadvisors Travellers rating. This beach has been awarded with the Prestigious Blue Flag certification from "Foundation for Environment Education,Denmark".
The beach lies on the western coast of Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) that is away from the city’s hustle-bustle which makes it calm and a quiet place. The silky white sands stretched across the entire area with the thick trees around and the bluish-green waters offer a heavenly view.

The huge trees make a nice space to sit on and there is an eco watchtower on the beach to get a good view. The tower is not very high but you catch a glimpse of some nice views on that. Eco-friendly furniture made out of logs of old fallen trees, bamboo sit-outs and tables are set up on the shore. You can spot a few hammocks and swings for kids on the beach as well.

At Radhanagar beach none of the water activities are allowed. All water activities at Havelock island are done near Beach No. 3 or at Elephant Beach. You can only swim at this beach until sunset.

By Private Cab Or Auto Rickshaw - Cabs and Auto are available at the hotel, Havelock Jetty or even your tour advisor can help you get a Cab to Radhanagar beach from Jetty or from your hotel. If you are staying at Barefoot, Taj, TSG Blue or any other property near to Radhanagar beach then the beach will be accessible by walk.
Government Bus - Government buses are available at regular intervals from Havelock Jetty, Beach Number 5, and Beach Number 3. The buses can be availed to reach Havelock Island and its pretty cheap
Cycle / Two wheeler - Cycle or Two-wheelers are available for rent at Havelock Island. Many travelers prefer such a mode of transport. However, make sure you know to drive the two-wheeler and cycle properly to avoid any accidents on the islands.
The Andaman Islands is a very clean and well-maintained region. The islands are kept neat and tidy and it does not encourage littering garbage in public places. Once you have emptied your food or water bottles do not throw it away in the open environment, find a dustbin and discard the waste in it.
