Ambkunj Beach
The Amkunj beach is located at the Nimbutala village at a distance of 8 km from Rangat. The beach is equally beautiful and scenic just like any other beach in Andaman. There are many eco-friendly sofa-like sit-outs, some eco huts for providing shade, and small round tables erected by the beachside which makes it a good place to sit and unwind on a bright sunny day. One can opt to swim here and soak in the warm sun for a lot of Vitamin D and much more peace of mind.

The azure waters and lush green surroundings create a perfect setting for relaxation and photography. The features eco-friendly amenities like wooden benches, and huts made from natural materials. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful stroll or dip their toes in gentle waves. It is an ideal spot for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet retreat. This hidden gem is a must-visit for travelers exploring the islands.

Though as a personal suggestion, we don't recommend Ambkunj beach for swimming as it's very rocky and might not be comfortable. The only beach where you can swim easily at Rangat is Raman Bageecha. Raman Bageecha is easily accessible by road and you can spend quality time here.

If you are short of time and are visiting Rangat then you can skip Ambkunj beach and rather cover Dhanninalah Mangrove walkway and Morrice Dera beach. These two places are must-visit in Rangat and are a perfect example of an eco-tourism destination.
How to reach Amkunj Beach
This beach is hardly 100 meters from the main road and hence one can reach it from Rangat in a mode of private transport and then walk for 2-3 minutes to see the wide-open beach.
