Visit various beaches and attractions in Rangat. Rangat is located at the heart of the Middle Andaman Islands and has quite a lot of things to do. This destination lies in the middle of the North and South Andaman Islands. Most of the people here are of Bengal origin and the local market here is a little different from that of Port Blair. Here in this tour, you cover the major attractions at Rangat.
This trip is best suited for you if you are planning to stay in Rangat. Also, if you are availing the trip from Port Blair to Diglipur Island along with a visit to Ross and Smith island this trip is a good choice. The trip to Diglipur Island is for 3 Days and we can take a pit stop to experience the attractions in Rangat as well.
Note:
This tour can be availed only if you are staying for a night at Rangat.
Today we head from the hotel to visit Morrice Dera beach. There is a walkway in between the rocks at Morrice dera that leads towards an eye-catching Horizon View Point. This can be seen before we head to Ambkunj beach.
Post completion of this trip we move to Ambkunj beach. This is a basic beach under maintenance of the Government of Andaman Islands. You can spend around 1 hour here before moving to Dhanninalah Mangrove walkway.
Post completion of the trip to Ambkunj beach we head to visit the Dhanni Nalah Mangrove Walkway. This walkway is around 720 meters, which was created by clearing creeks and Mangrove trees and this was initiated by an officer who was placed in Rangat earlier.
Now, the walkway here is much better than that experienced during the walk-in at Baratang Island. Walk your way through the mangrove forest and experience the unique beauty of Rangat.
By the time we end up on Dhanni Nalah trip, it's close to evening. We then return back to our hotel in Rangat for overnight stay.
It includes all 3 major attractions of Rangat like Ambkunj beach visit, Dhaninalah mangrove walkway visit and Morrice Dera beach
As such special guide is not required for this trip, but yes with this trip, you will get assistance from our driver.
