What is the cheapest way to reach Andaman from Mumbai?

The cheapest way we think is to take a train from Mumbai to Chennai and then take a bunk class Ship tickets from Chennai to Port Blair. But we caution for this option because the overall travel time will increase and you will incur personal expenses during this period.

What could be best for you when coming from Mumbai To Port Blair (The Capital of the Andaman Islands where you will arrive.)

Though traveling to Andaman from sea seems very exciting, but it has some constraints attached to it. And the foremost among them is an unexpected change in weather – As ship journey depends on the weather conditions, so your travel can be delayed if it is not favorable. Due to this delay in travel, you have to find a place to stay which is an additional expense. It can take a time of up to one week for the weather to clear which means the money you had paid against the hotel booking gets wasted.

Experience Andamans recommends you to opt for a flight instead to travel to Andaman because it will consume less time and saves you from a lot of hassle. If you still want to experience the sea thrill, you can choose to travel through sea route on your way back from Andaman. It is because even if the travel gets delayed or you feel sea sickness or nauseated you already have had the trip of your life!
