A trip for people looking forward to doing water activities at Havelock Island.

Elephant Beach is approximately 30 minutes by boat from the Havelock Jetty. This destination offers beautiful white sand beaches along with an amazing coral reef which starts at a depth less than a meter. Wondering, how is this possible? Well, this happens only at the Andaman Islands and would not be found at many destinations across the globe. The white sand beach and the turquoise-colored water at the Elephant beach are enticing for almost every traveler. The boat ride to Elephant beach passing through the lighthouse is a great view that you will enjoy.
 

Prior booking is a must for Elephant beach tour as limited boats sail to Elephant beach.
The trip includes all transfers, pick up and drop, entry tickets. All Transfers in a personal AC vehicle within city limits.

Important Note - If your hotel is located at Radhanagar beach then the cab cost will be extra.

Boat ride to Elephanta beach

Guests will be picked up from the hotel or the jetty by 8:30 AM. If you prefer a delayed pickup please let us know before time. We recommend early start of the tour to avoid peak rush hours at Elephant beach.

Your journey begins at the Havelock Jetty where you board a boat for your trip. Travelers should wear safety jackets provided during your sea journey. The boat will make its way through the sea to reach Elephant Beach. On your way, you will see the Havelock Island Lighthouse. Upon reaching the Elephant beach you can spend a couple of hours by the beach. You can indulge in swimming as well.

At Elephant beach you can indulge in water activities such as Snorkeling, Glass bottom boat ride, Jet ski ride, Sea Walking and Parasailing at an additional cost.

Complimentary snorkeling is part of this tour and is provided by the boat association at Havelock Island. The guide who will accompany you to Elephant beach will help you with the snorkeling experience.

Please carry adequate clothes if you plan a visit to the Elephant beach. Basic changing rooms are available at Elephant beach.

Return back to the Jetty

Post completion of Elephant beach we return back to Havelock Jetty in a boat. We then attend you at the jetty and drop you to your hotel.

Do we get snorkeling complimentary with this trip?

You will get complimentary snorkeling at Elephanta beach as per the guidelines.

Is there any other way to reach elephanta beach?

Yes, you can reach Elephanta beach by trekking as well which will take 40-50 mins. time to reach Elephanta beach.

NOTE: If you go by trek, the return has to be by trek only. So make sure you plan to trek only if you are comfortable to do so for both ways.

Can we enjoy Scuba diving at Elephanta beach?

No, scuba diving is not operational at Elephanta beach.

 

You can enjoy Sea walk, Jet ski ride, Glass bottom ride, etc... at Elephanta.

Its a lovely beach for those who like their sea with gentle waves. Its like a giant, shallow pool with crystal clear blue-green water.?20-30 min boat ride from the main jetty at Havelock Island Make sure that you take the 9am (or before) boat, they only allow 3 hours on the beach and one has to return taking the same boat. Also, as the beach closes by 2:30-2:45, its better to reach early and spend full three hours. Thanks to Experience Andaman team making all the timings very clear

You need to take the boat from the Havelock jetty to reach this island. The boat ride is of 20 minutes. The beach is extremely beautiful and makes it t a perfect place for snorkelling, glass bottom boat, deep see walk to experience the Marine life. The travel to the beach by boat and all the sports activity is unbelievable. I am a Senior citizen and could never dream to do snorkelling but once i entered the water, found that it was so easy. The corals and fishes were just amazing.
