A trip for those who are looking forward to a full day tour program where you explore the city side of the capital, Port Blair. Attractions Covered in this trip:
Insight into the world of prehistoric inhabitants of the island. Open from 9 :00 am to 1:00 pm and from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. This is the perfect place to know about tribal lives and history.
Over 350 species of marine life are showcased in the museum. Open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 4:45 pm. Monday closed.
Chidiatapu is 30 KM from the main city; this place is famous for its sunset view and bird watching

Visit to Anthropological Museum
Guests will be picked-up from their hotel /accommodation by 10:00 AM(Depends upon how far you are staying). Following the journey, guests will be dropped back to their hotel or an alternate location if required. First, we set out to visit the Anthropological Museum where various tribes of the Andaman Islands and their living are kept of display.
The zonal anthropological museum is all about the life and culture and of the native Andaman tribes.
The museum showcases the tools, clothes, handicrafts, art & crafts, pictures, and the other tribal items on display for the tourists. It gives the information about all the 6 tribes who have inhabited this island ages ago and how they still live with little or no contact with the rest of the world.
Visit to Fisheries Museum
After exploring the tribal life of Andamans we will be heading towards a visit to Fisheries Museum. This museum showcases around 350 specimens of various aquatic creatures from small fishes to big sharks and whales.
A variety of shells, corals and skeletal remains of marine creatures are displayed at the museum.
Note: If Fisheries museum is closed during your day of the trip then we cover Chatham Saw Mill Or Samudrika Museum. You can as well interchange Fisheries Museum with any of these mentioned museums without any extra cost.
Visit to Chidiatapu For Sunset
We head to Chidiatapu which is 30 KM from the main city; this place is famous for its sunset view and bird watching. A wide variety of birds visit this place. The road that leads to Chidiatapu passes through a forest and small hills. From Port Blair, the journey would take around one hour to reach Chidia tapu.
If you are interested in watching the sunset it is advisable to take an afternoon trip to this place. Remains of trees uprooted during the Tsunami in 2004 are still present near the beach. There are no restaurants or food stalls available inside the park; however, small hotels are present at the entrance.
While traveling to this place, the sea will be towards your left side, stop here to take some pictures and proceed to Chidiatapu.
