A full day trip to enjoy the amazing beauty of the islands, Ross Island and Chidiatapu. Explore the rich history of the Andaman during the day followed by an amazing sunset at Chidiatapu.
A few miles from Port Blair is the Ross Island, once an administrative headquarter for the Britishers before an earthquake rocked the Island in 1941. The British then left the island and took settlement at Port Blair, since then the Island could never recover from the decay and neglect which had set in. Later Indian Navy has rebuilt some of the old buildings like the bakery and the local stores, where souvenirs are available.
Chidia tapu is 30 KM from the main city; this place is famous for sunset view and bird watching. Varieties of birds visit this place. The road passes through forest and small hills up to the Chidia tapu.
Trip includes all transfers, entry tickets and all pickup and drop. Travel in a personal AC vehicle to every destination.

Morning
Boat ride to Ross Island (NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE ISLAND)
Guests will be picked-up from their hotel/accommodation at 8:30 AM. Following the journey, guests will be dropped back to their hotel or an alternate location if required.
The trip begins at the Andaman Water sports complex where you board a boat to Ross Island. The boat takes approximately 20 Minutes to reach Ross Island from the Water sports complex.
Upon reaching the island you can find ruins of a giant water distillation plant, a swimming pool, Japanese bunkers, a church, Bakery etc. The entire settlement of how the Britishers used to live at Ross Island can be seen here. A museum is also present at Ross Island where you can come to know about the rich history of Ross Island.
You will spend approximately 1 hour 30 minutes at Ross Island before returning to Andaman Water Sports Complex on the same boat. MS. Anuradha a private guide is present at Ross Island from whom you can avail of a guided tour as her knowledge about Ross Island and its history is amazing.
Upon returning from Ross Island our chauffeur picks you and drops you back to the hotel.

Around 3 PM we start our journey to Chidiatapu. The coastal drive to Chidiatapu is amazing, the journey takes around one hour to reach Chidia tapu. There is no restaurant or food stall available inside the park; however, small hotels are present at the entrance. After reaching Chidiatapu you can take a walk by the seashore and spend time enjoying a mesmerizing sunset. Seating arrangements made out of tree trunk are present at Chidiatapu.
Post completion of this trip we return back by the same route to reach Port Blair.
After enjoying the beautiful sunset our chauffeur will drop you back at respective hotel/resort in Port Blair by evening.
