Game Fishing in Havelock Island (For Upto 4 Adults)

Havelock Island is the hub of all game fishing activities and you will find various options to do game fishing in Havelock Island. Game fishing in Havelock Island comes in many different shapes, some fishing boats have a capacity to carry 2 people, some 4 and some up to 9 Adults. We in this trip are considering at least 2 people are traveling for the game fishing experience in Havelock Island.

This fishing trip will be for 4 hours around Havelock Island. In case you wish to do fishing for up to 8 hours then do submit a request to us.  For fishing trips in Havelock Islands we usually begin at 9:00 AM from Havelock Jetty where you board the fishing boat, these boats are equipped with all the fishing kit and all the required license to give you a seamless fishing experience. The boats are equipped with twin-engine and the boat can go up to 24 Knots per hour. Our fishing boats at Havelock are best in class and has made its way up to the invisible banks and Barren Island for trips that lasts for 3-4 Days. Currently, as per government regulations fishing trips in Havelock Island can be allowed only during the day and evening we should return back to the shore at Havelock.

 

On your way, you will pass through the Light House, Peel Island and Nicholson Island. The trip begins and the crew starts its work setting up the fishing rods for your trip. Trolling begins right away within 15 minutes of your trip. Once you get comfortable in the boat the team instructs you on how to use the fishing rods and training you with some basics about how to handle the rods. Once you are comfortable you start Jigging and Popping with help from the crew members. The boat makes both fast and slow moves while on the water. The reef around Wilson island is a treat to see. The turquoise water here is not seen in many places in the islands. These beaches are virtually untouched and only local fishermen anchor around these islands. We anchor close to John Lawrence Island for some time and you can enjoy the view and relax during your fishing trip.

Please note that all the guests are requested to wear life jackets during the entire trip. You can carry any additional food or beverages as per your requirements. A container is present on board where you can place your belongings. Fishing around Havelock Island is one of the most recommended tours and you will for sure enjoy your trip here.

Exclusion :
A Permit of Rupees 500 Per Person for Indian National and 2500 Rupees Per Person for Foreign National will be charged extra on top of the tour. These permits are mandatory to be obtained before the trip begins.
